As a practising Christian and mindfulness meditation practitioner/teacher, I find myself walking the fine line between 2 different traditions. The next article will be on my personal experience, “Navigating the Path Between Buddhism and Christianity.” Do you find yourself in a similar situation? [comment section open to all]
Thanks for the article. I enjoyed have shared and since subscribed. I identify as Buddhist but grew up Christian as my wife and family continue to identify. This can create challenges in relationships. Please keep writing on this theme. There would be a good comparative article on Buddhist and Christian ethics.
Glad you found it helpful and for subscribing. Yes so true it quite challenging to reconcile between two traditions I feel you Jim especially if you in the minority. I was thinking of writing an article on the Golden Rule of the major contemplative traditions the ethic of compassion at a later date. Next article I am working upon is a mindfulness grounding practice we teach to persons that struggle with anxiety.
